Hukum tajwid dalam surat Ad-Duha adalah sebagai berikut: Ayat ke-1 memiliki 2 hukum tajwid. Pertama, idham karena ada alif lam bertemu abjad syamsiah dhah. Kedua, mad thabi’i karena abjad ha’ berharakat fathah bertemu alif dan setelahnya tidak berjumpa hamzah, sukun, huruf yang diwaqafkan, atau huruf ber-tasydid.

Berikutini surah ad Dhuha, arab, latin dan terjemahannya: 1. وَالضُّحٰىۙ waḍ-ḍuḥā Demi waktu duha (ketika matahari naik sepenggalah), 2. وَالَّيْلِ اِذَا سَجٰىۙ wal-laili iżā sajādan Demi malam apabila telah sunyi, 3. مَا وَدَّعَكَ رَبُّكَ وَمَا قَلٰىۗ mā wadda'aka rabbuka wa mā qalā Surat Ad Dhuha dan Artinya. وَالضُّحٰىۙ. 1. waḍ-ḍuḥā. Demi waktu duha (ketika matahari naik sepenggalah), وَالَّيْلِ اِذَا سَجٰىۙ. 2. wal-laili iżā sajādan. Demi malam apabila telah sunyi, مَا وَدَّعَكَ رَبُّكَ وَمَا قَلٰىۗ. 3. mā wadda'aka rabbuka wa mā qalā.
Duha = light of the sun and the time of the early morning. - The audience was the Quraysh in the previous surah. In this surah - the audience is Allah's Messenger. - surah Layl ends with 'wa la sawfa yardda' - the one in pursuit of Allah's pleasure, soon he will be pleased. Generally.
